Korean BBQ Fried Rice

Korean BBQ Fried Rice

A one-pan, fiery, better-than-takeout fried rice recipe you'll make on repeat.

Start to Finish: 10 minutes

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chilled cooked rice
  • ¼ cup of RubRub Spicy
  • 1 ½ cups of chopped kimchi (save the liquid!)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 green onions
  • Neutral cooking oil
  •  1 cup crushed roasted seaweed

Directions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high with butter. Add kimchi + a spoon of kimchi juice and cook until caramelized and golden. Remove and set aside.
  2. Clean the pan; heat neutral cooking oil. Add eggs and scramble gently. Stir in rice.
  3. Season with RubRub Spicy and sesame oil; mix well so every grain is flavor-coated.
  4. Stir in the caramelized kimchi. Mix again.
  5. Serve topped with sliced green onions and crushed seaweed. Add a fried egg on top for a yolk-y finish.
